Research at Nottingham Law School

Research at Nottingham Law School is organised around three Research Centres, which reflect the main research strengths of the Law School, with several less formal clusters in other areas. One of the Law School’s defining features and key strengths is a long history of engagement with external users of research, through conferences, consultancies, research partnerships, commissioned research, policy evaluation work and participation in consultation exercises. Research that has been done in the law school has accordingly had real impact, for example, through the design of legal education provision and it has influenced practices and policies in a variety of areas, including insolvency law and public law. The Law School is also proud of its long history of publishing the Nottingham Law Journal.
