IR, Diversity and Labour Economics
This research group provides a focal point for theoretically-informed policy-relevant analysis in the field of work and employment. Conceptually, employment is considered broadly, encompassing analyses of productive activity, including systematic ramifications. Research explores the relationship between employees and the management process, as well as links between this and other aspects of the socio-economy, e.g. the household. Researchers use a variety of applied research methods (both qualitative and quantitative) to investigate this field.
This research group aims to draw together academics and doctoral research students, as well as external domestic and international collaborators. It is our intention to provide a nurturing research community and solicit resources to support the research process, thereby facilitating the development of high-quality research outputs and progressive societal impacts.
