Entrepreneurship and Innovation
The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Group has a specific focus on the important areas of entrepreneurship, innovation and small business. The terms 'innovation,' 'enterprise' and 'entrepreneurship' are broadly defined within the respective research, learning and practitioner communities, enabling colleagues from a range of disciplinary backgrounds to be legitimately included.

- pedagogy and knowledge transfer (e.g. entrepreneurial skill development)
- women entrepreneurship
- social enterprise

The Group also incorporates appropriate functional inputs (e.g. marketing the social enterprise; human relations management in the SME; managing health and safety in the smaller business; SME supply chains etc.). The Group has a strong applied focus and seeks to create an environment where researchers build mutually beneficial and long-term relationships with business, the community and academia.
