Organic Chemistry

Organic chemistry comprises a wide range of projects, some of which are interdisciplinary in nature. Particular areas of interest are the synthesis and properties of organic conducting materials; including hybrid materials with additional properties such as magnetism or chirality, applications of cyclic sulphate esters and ligands chiral at phosphorus in synthesis, polymer imprinting and charge density measurements on partially formed bonds.

Interdisciplinary research involves new directions in chemical genetics, drug delivery and organic electronics.
