Commissioning research
Our applied research capacity provides business solutions to industry, commerce and the professions. In addition, we also undertake more speculative modelling of future-world theories and concepts, sometimes referred to as blue-skies research. Within the University our structures enable us to be sector-facing and interdisciplinary, breaking the constraints of classic academic departmental structures.
