Events

The 10th International Conference on Military Geosciences (ICMG) welcomes contributions from all who are interested in military geosciences, including the following:

• Academics and researchers working in the field of Geosciences
• Academics and researchers from a broad range of related disciplines
• Professionals and managers working in engineering, product development and related areas
• National and regional development agencies and governmental bodies

The conference has an open theme and therefore welcomes presentations on any research in and around military geosciences. As a guide we expect the following areas to be covered:

• Rebellions and the military reactions
• Towards the Great War
• Military geoscience and Scotland
• Military geoscience through the lens / technology
• Geography, peacekeeping and disaster relief
• Ethics and military geoscience
• Other themes

Previous ICMG conferences were held in Reno, Nevada, USA (2011) Vienna, Austria (2009), Quebec City, Canada (2007), Nottingham, UK (2005), West Point, New York, USA (2003), Greenwich, UK (2000), Toronto, Canada (1998), London, UK (1996), and Seattle, Washington, USA (1994).
