Research Practice Course - First Year Poster Presentation
Details:
Come and see the outstanding work being produced by the current doctoral research students in the Colleges of Art & Design and the Built Environment and Arts and Science and speak to the students and academic staff.
The Poster Presentation forms part of the assessment in the first year of the Research Practice Course (RPC), which provides training and skills development to research students on the MPhil/PhD programme. The RPC is unique in offering a Postgraduate Diploma in Research Practice. Run in conjunction with the MPhil/PhD, the purpose of the programme is to provide knowledge, skills and support to enable a smooth transition into research work and the academic community. This includes the provision of an intellectual and social reference group, a sense of shared identity and a shared research culture. Experience has shown that the support of the RPC is directly relevant and beneficial to both doctoral level study and future careers.
Presenting students will also be offered the chance to take part in the Postgraduate Researcher Festival poster competition.
We look forward to seeing you there! If you have any queries please contact Heather Montgomery.
