The Rural Knowledge and Enterprise Centre (RKEC) has a variety of business partners and success stories. Our help has ranged from marketing advice, to testing in our food laboratories all the way up to large engineering projects.
We start every partnership with a thorough business review, using specialist consultants and industry experts. We look at what you are currently doing and where we might be able to help you to grow; this can involve a new perspective on your business or offering you the use of the first-class facilities on offer at Nottingham Trent University.
We can often start a lasting relationship between your company and a specialist within the University to develop a new way of working, a new product or a new system that will allow your business to take the next step towards your goals. Universities have the potential to make a significant contribution to the development of small firms and the RKEC is intended to assist in developing such working relationships to be formed.
To date we have worked with many diverse companies, from pickle producers to animal behaviourists, from children's toys manufacturers to creators of new innovative products.
