Excimer Laser Processing
We have high powered Ultraviolet Pulse lasers which can be used to process thin films and other materials. Typical processing includes crystallisation, surface sintering and densification, plus ablation, etching and laser patterning.
Our Excimer laser system is attached to a configurable beam delivery and sample manipulation stage, offering real-time beam monitoring diagnostics and in line beam homogenisation. The details of the equipment are as follows:
- Lambda Physik 305i Excimer
- 248nm at 2J per 20ns pulse
- 193nm at 0.5J per 20ns pulse
