Our academics and researchers are developing revolutionary, innovative applications in a diverse range of areas from MRI scanning to nanotechnology, and from materials imaging to the development of driverless cars, to name just a few.

This year, our Biomedical Science and Computer Science and Informatics teams are also celebrating the news that the impact of almost all of their research has been recognised as 'world leading' or 'internationally excellent' in the latest Research Excellence Framework (REF 2014).
