OpenPlus - a flexible way to get a science degree

What is the OpenPlus scheme?

Nottingham Trent University has formed a partnership with the Open University (OU) to provide opportunities for students to study Chemistry or Physics in a brand new way. Don't worry if you don't meet our standard entry requirements, this could still be for you.

If you want a science degree - but perhaps your qualifications, finances or family commitments are holding you back - then OpenPlus can help you succeed.

Endorsed by the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Institute of Physics, OpenPlus provides you with a high-quality teaching and learning experience from start to finish.

How and where do you study?

With OpenPlus you start studying part-time at home through supported learning with The Open University (OU). You will also attend a residential school. You then complete your degree by studying a further two years, full-time at NTU.
