External collaborations

The School also has an exceptional reputation for its external collaborations. Strong working relationships with a wide range of professionals, charities, research councils and policy makers ensure that we have up-to-date, vocationally relevant courses.

Directly relevant to a large number of organisations, the expertise of the School can and has also shaped policies, training and strategic direction. We run a wide range of highly successful initiatives, including contract-research, in-house training, consultancy and conferences. Sharing this expertise, we have formed strong working relationships with public sector organisations such as the NHS, Career Guidance providing agencies, Fire and Rescue Services and voluntary bodies as well as with government agencies. We also work with commercial organisations in areas such as health and safety, gambling and addiction.
