Day one - 10 July 2012

9 am: Registrations and open space sessions
To include networking, discussions on PHM including short films of PHM history. Poster presentation and stalls available.

10.30 am: Introduction and welcome
Welcome from Nottingham Trent University hosts and framing of event with underlying principles in the Public Health Movement Charter for Health.

10:50 am: Input on Social and Political issues of Health
Conversation between panel members and assembly

11:50 am: Break

12:10 pm: Group activities
Covering the above theme and how they would relate to the UK PHM manifesto.

1:10 pm: Lunch

2:10 pm: Input on Economic issues of Health
Conversation between panel members and assembly.

3:15 pm: Group activities
Covering the above theme and how they would relate to the UK PHM manifesto.

4:15 pm: Break

4:45 pm: Consolidation of day’s activities
Feedback on proposals for inclusion of the above topics into the PHM manifesto and time for open floor discussion.

6 pm: Evening Social

Day two – 11 July 2012

9 am: Social Movement: Experiences on building and sustaining them.
What can we learn from experiences of the global people's health movement?
How can we learn from each other?
How can we take action together?
Video link with the global People's Health Assembly in Cape Town. 

10 am: Conflict and Environmental Issues in Health
Conversation between panel members and assembly.

11 am: Break

11:15 am: Group activities
These different workshops / group activities will cover the above themes and how they would relate to a UK PHM manifesto.

12:15 pm: Lunch (not included in conference rate on day two)

1:15 pm: People centred health system
Speakers include: Allyson Pollock, John Lister and David Blane

2:30 pm: Group activities
These different workshops / group activities will cover the above theme and how they would relate to the UK PHM manifesto.

3:30 pm: Break

4 pm: Consolidation of the day's activities
Feedback on proposals for inclusion of the above topics into a PHM manifesto.

6 pm: Consolidation of the Assembly as a whole and the way forward
Formulation of a draft manifesto, for discussion beyond the assembly. Discussion of the PHM - the next stages.

Breaks and refreshments will be available throughout both days.
