The School is located in the centre of the city of Nottingham in the Chaucer building. Here you will find lecture theatres, teaching rooms, psychology laboratories, staff offices and social areas.
The Chaucer building is at the heart of the large, self-contained city campus, which provides excellent study, social and sports facilities for students. It is where all social sciences academic staff and some administration staff have their offices. The main entrance is on Goldsmith Street and two lifts provide access to all floors including the 3rd and 4th floors where the School is located. Situated close to library and Student Union facilities, Chaucer has its own cafe serving drinks and light snacks, and is only a short walk from the city centre.
The Nottingham City Transport tram service has a stop directly outside the building, making access to other parts of the city and the railway station easy.The Chaucer Building is number one on the map below.
The Newton building is a state-of-the-art learning environment equipped with the latest technology and an extensive, fully wireless-enabled social space to meet, study, work and relax. It is home to an abundance of teaching space, a range of lecture theatres of different sizes, and masses of space for social learning.
The Nottingham City Transport tram service has a stop close to the entrance to the building on Goldsmith Street. The Newton Building is number 11 on the map below and the entrance is through the main reception.
