The NTU Sport and Lifestyle Department are based in the Lee Westwood Sports Centre on Clifton campus.  Here you will find a huge variety of facilities and activities that are sure to keep you active.

Sports facilities

The Lee Westwood Sports Centre houses a numerous amount of facilities including:

• Main Sports Hall - A multi-purpose double sports hall with viewing gallery - suitable for a variety of sports including badminton, volleyball and five-a-side football.
• Astro-turf Pitch - A fully floodlit sand based all weather pitch, suitable for football and hockey.
• Squash Courts - Three brand new glass backed squash courts suitable for all standards of play from beginner to elite competition.
• Exercise Studio - An exercise studio to cater for all your exercise class needs. Please see the current Clifton class timetable for details.
• Sports Hall Two - An enormous open space suitable for a variety of activities including cheerleading, fencing and a variety of martial arts disciplines
• Grass Pitches - There is a combination of grass pitches for football, rugby and cricket (in the summer).

Fitness suite

Our fitness suite caters for all levels of ability an experience, regardless of your goals.

We offer a wide range of cardiovascular equipment with equipment you'd expect such as Treadmills, Cross-Trainers, Bikes, Steppers and Rowers and also those you may never have used before such as the intense summit trainers or for the serious cyclists our Watt Bike area.

A wide range of resistance stations to work all of your major muscle groups with the addition of a number of cable resistance equipment such as the advanced dual action pulley. Should this not be enough to give you the workout you desire then head into the freeweight area to add the extra variety to your routine.

If you're feeling a little spoilt for choice then head to one of our sports reception desks and book a fitness programme session to have a sit down with one of the trainers and arrange a plan to meet your fitness goals.
