People take part in physical activity for a variety of different reasons, but there are numerous benefits of doing it:

  • Physical activity can help you to look good by toning your muscles and assisting you with weight loss.
  • It can help you to feel good, as it decreases your stress levels and increases the release of endorphins, which are the body's natural feel-good chemicals.
  • Physical activity can assist with the treatment of mental health problems such as mild depression and anxiety, which are often caused by exam stress or increased work loads
  • It also provides the opportunity for you to meet new people and / or exercise with friends in a fun, friendly and supportive environment.

All of our classes are available for students, staff and the general public and it doesn't matter if you've never been to an exercise class before. Our classes cater for first timers and exercise enthusiasts alike!
