Nottingham Trent University Men’s Rugby Union First XV are one of the top University Rugby Union teams in the country. We work closely alongside Nottingham Rugby Football Club to create a first class performance based environment whilst offering excellence in education and career development. In partnership with Nottingham Rugby Football Club, and international IT solutions provider Logicalis, NTU are proud to offer four men's rugby union scholarships on a yearly basis.

All NTU Men’s Rugby Union Scholars receive a comprehensive support package that includes the following:

  • a £500 financial bursary
  • high-quality individual sports coaching and specialised strength and conditioning support; delivered through Nottingham Rugby Football Club Academy
  • access to sport support services, physiotherapy, sports massage and a specialist sports doctor
  • nutrition and lifestyle support including practical workshops
  • assignment of a performance support manager
  • access to educational support and opportunities for academic flexibility and / or part time study
  • free NTU Sports and Fitness membership
  • a rugby union scholarship kit.
