Rowing

NTU rowing has seen significant development over the past two years and become one of the largest clubs in NTU sport. Joining the rowing club will open a whole spectrum of opportunities for you. We offer sculling and rowing to complete beginners to the very experienced. We have very ambitious and competitive squads but, of course, come out to play at night!

Affiliated with Nottingham Rowing Club, a feeding centre to Great British rowing, we are surrounded with opportunities. We train on the River Trent and also have access to the National Water Sports Centre. With qualified coaching for both complete beginners and experienced rowers, and ample use of boats, we work hard to provide you with the experience you want to gain from rowing.

We compete all year round at many head races and regattas over the country. We have three main aims for both men and women:

• BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport) 
• Heads of the River
• Henley Regatta.
