Nu2sport needs coaches and leaders to deliver nu2sport sessions!

Do you have a coaching qualification? Leaders course under your belt? No qualifications but would like to get involved? Enthusiastic, friendly and organised?

Then become a nu2sport ambassador and gain the experience you need!

nu2sport is the fun way to get active at NTU. Offering entry level, fun and social activities to all our students. Really cheap too at just £1 a session and no membership is needed! Bargain! And we need you!

The main element of nu2sport is that people have fun! We have a range of sports on offer, which change every term, so plenty for you to get involved in. Sports range from Basketball, Trampolining and Touch Rugby to Golf, Handball and Walking.

The essential questions:

Is the role paid?
This role is voluntary, but appropriate training will be given where necessary. You will also get a nu2sport t-shirt!

How much time will I need to give up?
Depends on the sport and your workload! The minimum expectation is the delivery of one session per week.

Do I need to have volunteered / coached before or have previous experience?
No! Although it would be an advantage, as long as your are enthusiastic, outgoing and keen to gain some new skills, you’ll be just fine!

What will I get out of being a nu2sport ambassador?
Transferable skills and experience for your CV, training where necessary, ability to work in a team and improve communication skills. And hopefully meet some great people!
