This section will give you the information you need to prepare for coming to study in Nottingham. You will find out how to:

• get a visa to study in the UK and enrol as an international student
• prepare for bringing your family
• access healthcare in the UK
• register with the police
• get part-time work in the UK.

We have also put together a checklist of what you need to think about and do before you get here, when travelling to Nottingham and once you arrive. Print, read and check each item on the international checklist.

Taxi pick-up service
We organise a negotiated taxi pick-up service for new international students arriving in the UK. If you are interested in booking a taxi please use the taxi pick-up booking form. Remember to tell us your name, NTU ID number, date of travel, name of airport (including terminal) and flight number if you have this information.
