Welcome events and activities for all new international students
City site and Clifton campus
International Student Support Services offer a range of Welcome Week activities and events for all new international students. Welcome Week is an excellent opportunity for international students to meet new friends and settle into life at the University and in Nottingham. To give you a flavour of what is on offer, below are some of the types of events that ran during Welcome Week 2011.
- Briefing and supper for international postgraduate students that have arrived earlier in September
- Drop-in tea / coffee times
- International students' quiz and barbecue
- Welcome points at the City site and Clifton campus
- Advisory sessions on immigration matters, essential information sessions about living in the UK and making the most of your time at NTU.
