Other funding opportunities
Public funding for postgraduate students in the UK is mainly provided by research councils and boards. Most research councils do not make awards directly to students, but instead to the University. Further information about how to access these opportunities is available from within your School.
Apart from the sources already mentioned, postgraduate studies at NTU are also funded by a variety of external organisations including governmental agencies, charities and industry.
Further information about funding can also be found on the following websites:
You can also see other potential funding opportunities on our trusts and charities page.
Professional and Career Development Loans
You can borrow money and pay no interest while you study with these loans. Up to £10,000 is available to help fund up to two years of study. You can find out more on our PCDL webpage.
