Home visits
If you're too ill to attend the surgery, please contact us before 10.00 am and a nurse will assess your needs.

Repeat prescriptions
Repeat prescriptions can be ordered by letter (attach a stamped address envelope) via our website or in person. Your prescription will be available for collection within 48 hours (not including weekends/bank holidays). We are not able to take repeat prescription request over the telephone.

Teaching medical students
We are a training practice. This means hospital doctors wanting to enter general practice spend six months with us in order to gain the experience they need to become family doctors. If you would prefer that a trainee is not present during your consultation please let the receptionist know.

PAERS (Patient Access to Electronic medical Records System)
When you call into the surgery for your appointment you will have access to the PAERS arrival kiosk. This allows you to automatically check in at the practice without having to tell the receptionist. The system lets the receptionist and the doctor know that you have arrived. Please ask for a leaflet detailing how to register to use the other facilities of the PAERS systems.
