Time management
One of the main differences between learning at school or college and university is that you are much more responsible for managing your own time. Most tutors will, of course, remind you about deadlines, but getting work in on time is your responsibility. Please also bear in mind that deadlines at university are normally very strict. The following are sources of support available to help you with time management.

Presentations
Presentations are one of the most commonly assessed skills at university and so it’s important to get them right. The following forms of support are available.

Group work
Group work is an essential skill. You will need it not only in your studies, but your future career as well. Unfortunately groups aren't always as successful as they could be. The following sources of support may be of help.

Exams and revision
The most important principle for revision is to learn your subject as you go along. If you skip lectures and seminars, or don't do the reading, then it's almost impossible to catch up by revising. Here are some valuable resources to help you revise and prepare for exams.
