The blinds are closed in the day in some rooms in Newton, so we have to waste energy by turning on the lights.
Our electrical engineer has changed the settings on the blinds. Their default setting is now ‘open’ so internal lighting will be used considerably less.
We need better recycling facilities at Brackenhurst campus.
Students in Brackenhurst’s Halls of Residence can now recycle their paper, plastic and cans using recycling bins in each kitchen.
We need more Ucycle hire bikes.
We added 50 new bikes to the scheme in September 2012.
