Library

We need more computers and study spaces in Boots Library.

Boots Library is undergoing a £4.2 million refurbishment to make it an even better place for students to study, with more study spaces, more computers and better group study provision.

The study space in Brackenhurst Library should be more flexible, especially at busy times of the year.

Work on a fantastic new eco-friendly library is underway which will provide a stimulating and flexible study environment for our students.

The library should be open for longer so we can work late when we have deadlines.

Boots Library opening hours have been extended to 24 hours a day, seven days a week during term-time and Brackenhurst resource room opening hours have been extended to 11 pm. (Clifton Library IT resource room is already open 24 hours a day, seven days a week)

We need more study space in the library, especially around exam time.

New silent and group study spaces have been created in Boots Library.

We want to pay for things in the library using our debit cards as well as cash.

We have now introduced chip and pin payment in all libraries.
Other improvements
- We have introduced Library OneSearch, a new advanced system for finding and accessing library resources, also available for mobile.
If you have any comments or suggestions for improvements we could make, email the student comms team.
