Is there any funding towards developing my musical talents?

NTU has introduced funding for scholarships to allow musically talented students to continue with musical tuition while studying at NTU.

Are there any tutors for the instrument I want to learn?

Two new music tutors have been introduced this year to cater for students who want tuition in brass and woodwind.

I’m not very musical, but I really like music, so how can I get involved?

We have created an iBand, which enables students with no musical knowledge to play instruments using an iPhone / iPad app.

Other improvements

• We have collaborated with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra to give students the opportunity to perform with a world class orchestra in a world class venue – the Royal Concert Hall.
