  • Poetry Wall

Curated & Created is creating a poetry wall in the heart of the City Campus, and you’re invited to submit your words. We're looking for poems of solace, inspiration, and connection – a reminder of what we value at NTU: imagination, creativity, respect, and inclusion.

    Someone writing in a notebook.

Submit your ideas for our new Poetry Wall

Curated & Created – the University’s arts programme – is creating a poetry wall in the heart of the City Campus, and we’re inviting students, staff and the public to submit their words.

We're looking for poems of solace, inspiration, and connection – a reminder of what we value at NTU: imagination, creativity, respect, and inclusion. A panel of judges will choose the winning submission, which will be added to the side of 50 Shakespeare Street, above the Dryden Pocket Garden.

The side of a building and a garden.

    What’s the brief?
Imagine that the blank wall is a fresh, new page, ready to be filled with words that reflect who we are or advice to inspire the people who walk past. You can submit something that you have known for years, something you’ve written specially, or something which you’ve only recently discovered. We’d also love to know why you’ve chosen it and if it has a connection to NTU or Nottingham.

    Who can submit an idea?
Anyone! All suggestions are welcome – please share onwards with fellow students, colleagues, friends and family.

How do I submit an idea?
Complete our online form to submit your poem.

    What’s the deadline?
Send us your poem by 10 am on Monday 30 May 2022.
