Why do consumers spend excessive amounts of money on products? Is it because these products have a certain name on it? Or is it just a case of greedy manufacturers and retailers, and vain customers?

Come to our business session to find out!

The afternoon, aimed at Post 16 students currently studying business or considering courses in business and marketing at university, will enable students to experience an interactive lecture and find out what it's like to study at university. Students will be given information about careers available and what skills and qualifications are needed to progress in the marketing industry.

There will be an opportunity to tour the NTU City site and meet current students and also to speak to an NTU business academic who has first-hand experience of working in the marketing world.

Students are welcome to attend this event on their own or accompanied with a teacher as part of a school / college group.

82% of attendees at the 2013 event agreed or strongly agreed that this event was 'good for employability'.
