Professor Murray Pratt, Dean of the School of Arts and Humanities, warmly invites you to an inaugural lecture to be given by Tim Desmond at Nottingham Trent University. The lecture is entitled 'Building a 'Republic of Museums': Developing new models to secure resilience and learning in museums, during the era of austerity.'

Tim Desmond is Visiting Professor of Heritage Management in the School of Arts and Humanities. He is Chief Executive of The Egalitarian Trust which incorporates the Galleries of Justice Museum and the National Centre for Citizenship and the Law. He is a Board member of the Arts Council in the Midlands and Chair of EMMS (East Midlands Museum Service).
