On Wednesday 19 November, Nottingham Business School will be holding the Thinkubator Challenge – a ground-breaking event providing businesses with access to free expertise to support their growth. In these challenging economic times, many businesses can find it difficult to continue trading, never mind find ways to invest and grow. Our free expert advice could prove critical to their future success and investment.
Developed by Nottingham Business School at Nottingham Trent University and involving up to 1,500 students and faculty staff, each challenge 'hub' will include leading academics who are experts in their field (many are consultants to business), research students, business postgraduates and undergraduates.
With access to the full resources of Nottingham Business School, each hub will focus on one individual challenge at a time. Organisations submitting challenges will receive a short response, electronically, on the day, which will outline the hub's thinking, recommendations and advice on practical steps to take.
Some of the challenges which might be submitted to the school's team of experts on or prior to the day could include issues surrounding financing production; entering foreign markets; developing new products or services; finding the right employees or even help with attracting new investment. Whatever the problem that's being faced, our Thinkubator Challenge can help.
All normal classes at Nottingham Business School will be put on hold on 19 November as the entire faculty will concentrate their business brains on solving the challenges which come in. In the run up to the event businesses and organisations in the UK and internationally are being asked to submit challenges they may be facing.
We're expecting the place to be a buzzing hive of activity that day, but we need your business challenges to work on.
