This event, led by social media specialists, is aimed at small and medium businesses in the East Midlands. It will be relevant to those who are either new to blogging, feel they need a refresher, or are daunted by the prospect of what blogging entails.

At this event delegates will learn more about:

  • the value and strategic importance of blogging to promote a business web presence
  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and keywords, and how to make use of them in blogging to drive website traffic
  • features of a successful blog, and how to communicate your company values with authority.

This specially organised workshop is delivered and facilitated by working with you , an ERDF funded project that helps small and medium organisations in the East Midlands to grow and innovate. It is being run in collaboration with LATi, a membership organisation that provides networking and business support for companies and individuals involved in the innovative use of science and technology.

Programme

The event will include a case study from guest speaker, Simon Hogg. Simon will discuss his experience of digital marketing and blogging campaigns for Ink2Paper and Lacerta.

There will also be the opportunity to:

  • speak to experts about your own blogging experience
  • networking with like-minded business professionals
  • find out what other support may be available for your business.

The event will conclude with a networking lunch at 1 pm.
