Thirsty Thursday events provide an opportunity to hear successful young entrepreneurs recount their own experiences in an informal social setting and everyone has the opportunity to network afterwards over drinks and a buffet, and a free prize draw.

This event is free of charge and includes a buffet and prize draw.

The two guest speakers will be as follows.

Chris Moss, The University Paper

Originally based in Nottingham, The University Paper is now one of the most popular student-led newspapers in the country, distributing 1.2 million copies across 30 different UK cities. The company was formed in 2012 by NTU Business School graduate Chris Moss. It has seen great growth over the past year after coming to an agreement with Simian Publishing.

Stephen Jones, The British Quinoa Company

Founded by Nottingham University PhD graduate Stephen Jones on his family farm in 2011, The British Quinoa Company are now the leading quinoa (pronounced Keen-wah) producer in the UK. After just two full years of production, they now supply quinoa grain to companies such as Pret A Manger.
