As part of the Arts and Humanities English Research Seminar series, MRes student Richard Bromhall will present a 15-minute paper entitled Gym Slip Mums: Comedy and the figure of the chav in Martin Amis' Lionel Asbo: State of England, and, Dr Anna Ball will present a 25-minute paper entitled Communing with Darwish's Ghosts: Absent Presence in Dialogue with the Palestinian Moving Image.
