Size Matters: Exploring the Future of Nanoscience
Includes a tour of NTU's iSmart facility and Superlab
This event, held in collaboration with LATi, draws together some of the latest thinking in nanoscience and technology.
- From: Tuesday 29 September 2015, 3.30 pm
- To: Tuesday 29 September 2015, 7.30 pm
- Location: Clifton campus, Nottingham Trent University, Clifton Campus, Clifton Lane, Nottingham, NG11 8NS
Nanoscience and technology is part of our everyday lives and important to our future. From the increasingly energy efficient technology in our pockets and safer food packaging, to the development of innovative cancer treatments, nanoscience is shaping lives and societies.
This specially organised event, held in collaboration with LATi, draws together some of the latest thinking in nanoscience and technology and presents it as a series of case studies. We will examine the role of nanoscience and nanoparticles, discuss new applications, and permit a rich insight in to this fascinating field.
Delegates will enjoy the additional benefit of touring University facilities. You can see our key capabilities in this field, including the unique way in which NTU fabricates nanoparticles. Plus there will be the chance to talk to experts. This is in addition to having the opportunity to discuss possible business collaborations with our academics and network with a range of business support professionals from across the University.
This event will appeal to senior researchers, technicians and decision makers in the fields of electronics, including bio electronics, technology and science. Places are limited and early booking is recommended.
This event is part funded by the ERDF and D2N2 and there is no fee to attend.
