Event details

In the run up to the Paris climate change talks in December we need to seriously look at the way we produce our energy. We cannot afford to burn any more fossil fuels. We need to leave what remains in the ground in the ground. But what do we do instead?

Join the debate at this event, hosted by Em-Power Nottingham. Come along and hear Alan Simpson, NTU alumnus, former President of NTSU and former Member of Parliament, tell us what is happening in Germany and Professor Mark Gillott and Dr Lucia Rodrigues will tallk about the EU-funded energy storage project in the Meadows.

Communities, councilors and businesses in Nottingham need to work together to achieve a resilient city we can all be proud of. The conversation has to start NOW. Be part of that conversation.

Please book a place at this free event here. The event is open to all students, staff and the public.
