ACE Week - Introduction to Social Science research

This event is part of the School of Social Sciences' ACE week and open to School of Social Sciences undergraduate students only.

Have a go at analysing quantitative (statistical) and qualitative (interviews) data using initially ethical screened video and audio material with support from an experienced researcher. This will be an innovative engagement with social science research methodologies and data analysis techniques in an informal atmosphere that will engage students and provide a vital learning platform for their studies.

What you need to check before attending the event

  • Are you studying on BA (Hons) Social Work? You will still have scheduled teaching, seminars or will be on placement. You are very welcome to attend our ACE Week events that do not clash with your scheduled teaching.
