ACE Week - Seminar on healthy cities

This event is part of the School of Social Sciences' ACE week and open to School of Social Sciences undergraduate students only.

This workshop explores the territory of shaping cities for health and will allow us to hear the thoughts of Geoff Green, Emeritus Professor of Urban Policy at the Centre for Health and Social Care Research, Sheffield Hallam University. He advises the WHO European Healthy Cities Network on Age-Friendly cities and city health development planning. He has coordinated 20 university research programmes on the ‘upstream’ determinants of public health.

What you need to check before attending the event

  • Are you studying on BA (Hons) Social Work? You will still have scheduled teaching, seminars or will be on placement. You are very welcome to attend our ACE Week events that do not clash with your scheduled teaching.
