Event details

NTU is delighted to host, in collaboration with Nottingham Contemporary, an 'in conversation' evening with Sam Thorne, Director of Nottingham Contemporary and BA (Hons) Photography alumnus and 2005 Turner Prize winner Simon Starling.

This event coincides with an exhibition of Simon’s work at Nottingham Contemporary and Backlit Gallery, part of The Grand Tour Season Two, which is open to the public from Saturday 19 March to Sunday 26 June 2016.

On Thursday 12 May Simon will discuss his latest exhibition, which will be the largest UK display of his work to date. The exhibition will include some of his major projects, most of which have never been shown in the UK before. Included in the show will be Project for a Crossing (2015-16), a new commission specially produced for Nottingham Contemporary.
