The Journal of Finance and Management in Public Services (JFMPS) conference is an annual one-day event designed to showcase emerging research in public management.
Originally established by and for academics providing Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) courses, it has expanded its content to include experienced public service researchers and practitioners presenting a variety of papers on public policy, strategy, finance, and management of public services. At the same time, it has managed to retain a welcoming and supportive environment in which to exchange ideas and share emerging research and concepts.
Delegates are invited to submit a synopsis or developmental paper or presentation, or a final paper, by Friday 9 September. The conference is intended to facilitate inter-university research collaborations and to help generate articles for the JFMPS, an ABS-ranked journal.
