As part of Heritage Open Days, England's biggest festival of history and culture, Nottingham Trent University will be offering guided tours of Brackenhurst Main Hall; a country house built in 1828 with late Victorian alterations and extensions.

As part of Heritage Open Days, England's biggest festival of history and culture, Nottingham Trent University will be offering guided tours of Brackenhurst Main Hall; a country house built in 1828 with late Victorian alterations and extensions.

The birth place of Field Marshal Allenby, Main Hall features oak panelled interiors with intricate plaster work. Available for viewing will be a display of old photographs and items from a collection of historic agricultural implements.

Guided tours of the sunken and rose gardens as well as the Victorian walled garden and glasshouses will be offered.

Not suitable for children under the age of 8.
