Engage for Success and Nottingham Business School invite you to attend their HR Forum event.
Since the MacLeod Review in 2009, there has been growing interest in employee engagement. Although we all know engagement is a good thing, many questions still remain. A key question is: how do we develop and implement engagement initiatives? A central part of this question is the role of line managers. Line managers are in essence the sub-drivers to engagement; although they are a fundamental part of the engagement argument, we know little about their role in driving employee engagement. To help address some of these questions, Engage for Success have launched a new Thought and Action Group (TAG), focusing on engagement and the line manager. Led by Nottingham Business School, the group will be undertaking case study research to explore engagement in practice.
To kick-start the research, an event will be held at Nottingham Conference Centre for senior HR professionals and organisational leaders. David MacLeod (co-author of the MacLeod Review and founder of Engage for Success) will be a keynote speaker at the event, followed by industry speakers reflecting on issues of employee engagement within their organisations.
By attending the forum, you will:
- have an opportunity to hear from expert practitioners and leading academics
- learn how other organisations develop and implement engagement initiatives
- be part of research on engagement by Nottingham Business School and Engage for Success.
