This event is for social science students as part of ACE Week, which is your chance to:

Introduction to Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)

A practical introduction to communication and how Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) can be used to enhance the way we impact on, and relate to, others and ourselves.

  • Understand the different ways that people process, store and transmit information.
  • Discover the power of sensory-based language to build rapport and influence.
  • How we use language to restrict and create barriers and how to change our approach to use of language.
  • Learn a simple technique for quickly changing your emotional state.

What you need to check before attending the event:

Are you studying BA (Hons) Social Work or a postgraduate course? You'll still have scheduled teaching and seminars or will be on placement. You are very welcome to attend our ACE Week events that do not clash with your scheduled teaching.
