123D Catch, and 3D Systems Sense for Beginner level users
3D meets DIY: This session will demonstrate various methods to generate 3D models for 3D printing or rendered visualisations.

123D Catch lets you convert ordinary photos into extraordinary 3D models using your Windows phone or mobile device, iPhone, iPad, Android device, or any camera. Share your catches, or 3D print a real object!

The Sense 3D scanner lets you transform the way you work. Hand-held and light weight, the Sense 3D scanner is fast, easy, portable and practical. It offers full-colour 3D scanning for use in your home, school and business.

This workshop will give an introduction to 3D scanning technologies using a range of software from free software, consumers hand-held 3D scanners, and professional high-resolution fixed position 3D scanners.
