Meshmixer, Cura, Makerbot Desktop for Beginner level users

This workshop demonstrates how you can drive productivity at every stage of the product development cycle with 3D printing solutions. From early concept design to final manufacturing, 3D printing spans the entire creation process and all steps in between. 3D printing can add value at each of these steps and help you get there faster, better and cheaper.

The three-hour session will elaborate on the wide spectrum of Additive Manufacturing technologies in use today. Building upon a theoretical grounding, the session will demonstrate various software to show how a 3D part file is processed to make it ready for 3D printing and may include some hands-on instruction. You will learn useful and advanced setup and print techniques to achieve optimal results.

Snapshot of event:

  • Demonstration of various 3D printing software, allowing you to choose what works best for you.
  • Watch a 3D printer in progress.
