Based in the School of Social Sciences, the Department of Sociology holds a regular seminar series over the academic year, inviting excellent internal and external speakers to present their research findings. Staff and students from the department and the wider university are welcome to attend.

This week's seminar will be from NTU's Damilola Oyewole, Machi Tseloni and Soenita Ganpat.

Damilola will be presenting on 'The role of culture and health beliefs on diabetes self-management among Black African community in Nottingham.'

Machi and Soenita will be presenting on 'Routine activities, personal security and stranger and acquaintance violence victimisation in England and Wales.'
