Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is delighted to invite Eileen Myles to speak as part of the 2017 Fine Art Live Lecture Series.

One of the most important and beloved figures of American letters & Commentary, Myles has been described as 'one of the savviest and most restless intellects in contemporary literature'.

Poet, novelist, performer and art journalist Myles is the author of nineteen books including I Must Be Living Twice: New & Selected Poems, a collection of thrilling verse, including both new poems and beloved favourites, and a re-issue of Chelsea Girls in 2015, a ground-breaking and candid novel-in-real-time, considered a cult classic.

About the Fine Art Live Lectures Series

The Fine Art Live Lecture Series is an initiative by Nottingham Trent University's Fine Art course, whereby creative practitioners are invited to deliver a lecture to current students. The lectures are also open to staff, alumni and the general public.

The lectures take place during term-time only.

The course also has an informal Facebook page giving details about forthcoming lectures.

Parking:

Our City site is located in Nottingham city centre. There are a number of public car parks within a short walk from the University – Trinity Square and Talbot Street. There is also limited metered on-street parking on Chaucer and Shakespeare Streets.

Travel Info:

If arriving by tram, please use the Nottingham Trent University stop on Goldsmith Street. The Newton building can be found a short walk away along the same street.
