Workshops to consist of:

Education for Sustainable Development:
This workshop will be focused on looking into how to integrate ESD across a whole course. The session will explore aligning discipline-specific information that can be easily embedded into existing course content in line with the ESD Curriculum Refresh Framework.

Embedding Employability Workshop:
This workshop will provide a space to discuss your approach to embedding employability within your course, share approaches to the curriculum refresh actions and find out more about how the Employability Team can support you through the process.

Exploring Synoptic Assessment: This workshop is designed to support staff with the following aspect of the Curriculum Refresh framework (CO101 E3): Later in the course, there is a synoptic assessment, allowing students to combine learning in relation to their employability from a range of activities and experiences, and which requires a significant element of reflection in relation to their future employability aspirations. This synoptic assessment is integrated into an appropriate module. This session will provide a space for academic staff to think through the concept of synoptic assessment and how it might apply to their course; to share practice and ideas.

Success For All: The workshop will cover a range of ways of practical and strategic approaches to embedding inclusivity in Curricula and pedagogies.

Internationalisation:1. Structuring your course to make the most of international opportunities: This workshop will cover working with partners to develop pathways into NTU and facilitate international mobility.
2. Teaching international students as part of an inclusive curriculum: This workshop will cover ways to ensure that everyone benefits from diversity in the classroom.

Staff-student research Collaboration: This workshop will focus on different ways to design staff-student research collaboration and how to incorporate research into the curriculum. Examples will be shared from SPUR (Scholarship Projects for Undergraduate Researchers).

The Digital Framework: This workshop will look at the Digital Framework and how to consider using it within Curriculum Refresh. The session will help staff identify key areas of practice of the Digital framework, use the Digital framework to evident curriculum design as part of the Refresh activity , identify support and toolkit as well as access resources from the NOW learning room.
