One of the biggest names in magazine publishing, Vogue editor-in-chief Alexandra Shulman, talks about her life and career with students from the Centre for Broadcasting and Journalism at Nottingham Trent University.
Alexandra has been at the helm of the celebrated fashion magazine since 1992, blending haute couture and high street style with interviewing leading cultural, literary and political figures of our times.
Alexandra will be leaving Vogue this summer, having become the longest serving and most successful editor in its 100-year history and winner of multiple awards.
Her talk, which will take the form of an interview followed by Q&A with the audience, will cover her work as a journalist, her experience of working with royals and celebrities, her leadership of Vogue and the expansion of the brand, advice for would-be editors, plus her wider views on fashion’s role in the world.

If arriving by tram, please use the Nottingham Trent University stop on Goldsmith Street. The Newton building can be found a short walk away along the same street.
