Want to find out more about environmental issues and make a positive impact? Nottingham Trent University is offering you the chance to take part in a national, award winning change programme. It will give you the opportunity to develop your auditing, analytical and professional skills, whilst giving you a great addition to your CV and valuable employability skills.
Green Impact is designed to encourage, support and celebrate University departments in making environmental improvements.
What will the programme involve?
You will need to be free on Wednesday 26 April, to come to the IEMA approved training day at NTU, where you will receive a certificate upon completion. Each volunteer auditor will be given training on auditing skills and environmental issues in the morning and will then put those skills into practice in the afternoon, auditing University departments in pairs. The audit will allow us to see how green each department is and review how it could be improved.
No technical knowledge is required, all you need is an interest in environmental issues.
Please contact us if you are eager to get involved with Green Impact auditing, or if you have any further questions. Spaces are limited. Details will be confirmed closer to the audit date.
